In the heat race Butch got tangled up with the 39 car driven by Eddie Witkum Jr. The crew went to work on the car and got it back together for the feature.
Butch started on the Pole in the feature and held the lead for a couple of laps.
When the race was over he brought home his first fifth finish of the year.
